Cave des Onze Fumin, Valle d'Aosta

Full red. Aromas of raspberry, cinnamon and earthy underbrush. Very fresh and clean, revealing an edge of aromatic herbs and spices to the red cherry and red berry flavors. Finishes long and bright, with gentle tannins and a tangy quality to the fruit. A blend of 70% Petit Rouge and 30% mixed Cornalin, Fumin, Mayolet and Pinot Noir, as tradition (more or less, as Pinot Noir was not usually included in the blend) dictates.
